I got these 2 programs up and running great with the latest versions from the respective websites. However, my old trick of copying the info. from the old folders to the new folders does NOT seem to work. Has anyone else done this? I'm still looking around to see a solution as it seems Vista handles things quite a bit differently than XP. Maybe the files need to be copied somewhere else?

Double post. Windows Mail was being weird.
I found out the same thing....should have used Mozbackup first....now I can't find the damn mail folder with all my old emai. contacts get saved, tho if your'e doing an upgrade...if not, use mozbackup to back those up as well first.

I found that worked. However, it didn't seem to backup/restore the messages themselves. But, I found where Vista was throwing them an copied them over and BOOM it all works. So, I'm happy. So far, interesting OS... I haven't really dove into it in depth yet. So can't really say anything either way. My biggest problems seems to do with my old space 20 gig drive appears to be dying in the system. It just seems to appear and disappear from the system BIOS for no apparent reason. Boy, does Vista not like that when it vanishes! But thena gain, I don't think any OS would!
